A stained glass window depicting St Ralph Sherwin,
the first martyr of the Venerable English College,
who died at Tyburn in England on 1 December 1581.
His willingness to risk his life for the “helping of souls”
in England testifies to both the importance of the
evangelisation and the fact that the message of
the Gospel is often rejected.
